I couldn’t get this to post on the week 6 thread so adding here.
Such a fun six weeks! I enjoyed the program and now I am starting to work on a few diet changes too: less soda, more water, adding fruits and eating small snacks so as never to feel starved when I sit down for a meal. This program has really made me feel good and powerful. Your words and quotes before each workout reminded me that I am in control of my workouts, my food intake and my attitude. It’s easy to get in a routine and just follow the same unhealthy routine but I know I have the power to change those habits to something positive! Can’t wait to continue with the next six weeks Jessica!
I was very excited to see the email with Phase 2 today. Thank you so much Jessica! Stated Day 1 of Phase 2 today and completed both Cardio Party and HIIT walk. It’s so nice to have a choice each day or even to do both workouts. I’m excited to try the next DVD release in March. I can’t thank you enough!
I’m definitely joining for Round 2! I unfortunately don’t have any of the DVDs listed as supplements (and am on a “spending diet” or else I’d get some!), but I DO have these:
- Walk On: 3 DVD Super Set (Dance Walk, Tone Your Trouble Zones, Strength & Balance)
- Walk On: 5 Fat Burning Miles
I will spend some time figuring out which routines from these DVDs might fit into the new rotation and where. PLUS, I’ve started going back to ballet class again so every Tuesday workout will be subbed with that.
Additionally, a friend got me a FitBit the other day and I’ve been consistently hitting my 10k steps a day on top of my workouts. I’ve been managing over an hour of active-time each day! I feel like all of this stuff together will keep my fitness plan very well-rounded.
