Saturday- Hello everyone!!! I think this is the longest I gone without posting. Right now im posting as my husband is driving us home from visiting our daughter college for parents weekend. It was the first time we’ve seen her since dropping her off sept 13.friday night we ate at a great little restaurant and went to a block party sponsored by the parents & alumni associations. Saturday morning I did rise and shine yoga in the hotel room then ran the university’s 5k as my family cheered me at each Kilometer .it was a 1k looping course . After the race we all ran though beautiful flat fountains – which the university encourages. That was my youngest daughters favorite part of our trip. Then we took rest of the early afternoon for food and clothes shopping for my daughter . It was a wonderful time, however my youngest daughter is totally wiped out and on sensory overload she is now fast asleep in the backseat .
My tooth issues are not resolved. I have a consult with a oral surgeon next week ,it took until Friday night for the antibiotics to kick in and stop the pain. Thankfully I have a very high pain tolerance. oddly I was only in pain when I sat or laid down . Tuesday- Friday my workouts were just strecthing or light yoga after work. Tonight at home I’m hoping to do day 11’s you tubes recommended workouts and a Fullbody stretch and relax .
Day 13 and a beautiful Saturday. As I have done all the Flows from Gentle Yoga already this week I did Dance Stretch this morning and shall do the recommended 18 Minute Stretching workout using a chair this evening.
Tomorrow is an active Rest Day and I shall do Prehab and I have signed up for a leisurely hike and beach clean up.

I am having big problems posting again. I lost two attempts this morning so I will keep this short.
Day 10 yesterday and as I was doing the hike/run I started my day with Flows one and two from Gentle Yoga and ended my day with the 18 Minute Stretch Using a Chair. Boy did I need it after the intensity of th hike run.
Being in the uk this summer for so long I had lost some of my capacity to handle the intense heat and humidity here and when I got home yesterday afternoon I was very tired. My time was good though at 2 hours and five minutes for the 15km. I came in last (to be expected). I only ran 6km and fast hiked the rest. It was too hot for me.💪
Thank you JackieMc and mholdsworth I knew I could count on both of you 😀 Great suggestions and thoughts. Haven’t checked out the Fit in Fifteen but will…..makes sense that I should go a little slower now since I have been sick 😉
mholdsworth hope the dentist went as well as it could and that you are on the mend 🙂
JackieMc that cookout went well and we are thinking of doing another soon when there is a bit more color on the leaves so we can extend the enjoyment of our backyard. One of these days we are going to build a shelter with one end nothing but an outdoor fireplace then we can enjoy outside even longer 🙂
Mauree, as im sitting in the waiting room of the dentist office I thought I’d make the most of my time and answer about my excercise time . I generally do my most consistent exercise in the evening after dinner. I have a very hard time making time for morning exercise.however, I really feel so much better when I do . I will say I cannot do HTT or intense cardio in the morning or I’m worn out at work as my job is very physical. If I do a morning routine it is usually 20 minutes of yoga or a dance walk or light weights . During the school year my days start at 5:30. Summer are bit more relaxed and my days start around 7. Hope this helps . I would say so what feels right for you .
