Just the suggested 20min Strength Routine after work tonight – loved it, it was a bit different. So funny when Peanut got into trouble and was sent to her bed, her face was so sorrowful!! Onto week 3 tomorrow.
Day 18 and I began my day with the recommended Total Body Abs Transformer from Cardio Abs. I had forgotten how good (and tough) this one is. I used 12lb weights changing down to my 10lbs for round 2 of one of the moves. I had amnesia about this and had forgotten it was a Cardio Strength workout with burpees etc. I do love it though. I followed this with the YouTube recommended Single Sided Strength using a 10lb or 12lb weight depending on the move. I do like this routine too as it is a good assessment of how far I have travelled since my 2kilo set were my heavies. I went for a walk with my friend around the coast. It was nice to catch up, walk and get our steps in. The rest of the day I have been tied to my desk but it has been a really good day.
The evening I did the 20 minute Core Stretch from Total Body Balance

It’s that time of year when you need to run the furnace in the morning and your air conditioning in the afternoon and it is playing havoc on my joints 🙂 Going to be concentrating on strength and stretching as I know I will get plenty of cardio outside.

Day 17 and a Cardio Core day. Like Jacy I wanted more challenge today rather than just doing a few walking workouts. I was going to do Interval Mix but Jacy gave me the idea of the 40 minute Indoor Jogging Routine which I especially enjoyed this morning. I followed this with the 40 minute Flat Abs Walk which I also love. Doing both of those routines gave me over 9,000 steps too as a bonus.
I was working from home again today, the weather has been very dark and stormy although it began to clear after lunch and I managed to get out for a short walk with my husband before returning to my desk in the afternoon.
This evening I did Total Stretch from WS3. It has been a busy working day but enjoyable too.

Today I did the Kickboxing Hiit for Beginners and needed a bit more so did 20mins Indoor Jogging. I cut it short as my son wanted driving to a trampoline park with his friends. This afternoon I have done Dynamic Stretch from Walkstrong. At the moment for the stretches I am working through all my DVDs first and will then move onto YouTube Stretches. We’ve had the oak tree in our garden cut back today and it looks so much better, it won’t be long until it’s sprouting lots of new growth. Tomorrow I will take as an active rest day and am hoping for a better week in my new job!
