Boogie IT: this was really fun and lively. I like the agility and coordination moves in between the intervals. It will definitely take me a few goes to get the hang of them all, especially that backwards leg sweep! But I like that I have something to concentrate on other than breathing hard and sweating!!
Upper Body this morning and I feel great. Much more confident with my push ups as well. I enjoyed this workout a lot and the message for the day is so correct “without struggle there is no strength”. My husband actually told me that I looked fabulous. Isn’t that so nice to hear💪💪💪
I partnered Upper Body with Cardio Step Jam which I also liked too. I like the way Jessica sneaks in the Brain Fitness workouts with our cardio at every opportunity. This is so important for all of us especially as we age.
My mum was having memory problems over the summer and has recently been assessed and diagnosed with Altziemers. She is healthy and so happy and that is what matters and I don’t feel sad😀. It is wonderful that Jessica is helping us to keep our brains as well as our bodies fit… it is all connected.
Days 32-34 Thursday -Saturday . Thursday I had a very busy &hectic workday.Friday I was at the hospital (It is an hour away) with my son, He had 4 doctor appointments. It was a very long day.over 10 hours with driving. Sadly No routines both days. Saturday(today) morning I did cardio yoga before my 5k race. I almost talked myself out of it because of the two days not training or stretching. I was very tried and worried I would injure myself. I’m so happy I did the race. The start line was at a cozy marina. It was a beautiful start . Unfortunately the race course itself wasn’t what I had hoped no trail ,all hard paved roads.I still had my “me” time and it was just what I needed. No injures and it energized me ,I then went to work after going home for a quick lunch. Also I set a personal record today for a 5k finish time .My pace time was better than ever & I placed 3rd out of my age group of 18 women. I never stick around to see if I place . I only race against myself for myself . later in the day by email I found out that I placed in that race and I that I placed 1st in my age group in the 10k from last weekend. It was nice and made me feel strong . Hope everyone has a blessed holiday.
