The Cardio Interval Sculpt proved to be as effective a workout for my brain as for my body! I enjoyed learning the new moves. Great workout physically and mentally!
Saturday morning and I got an extra special extra long sleep in this morning. Wonderful after a very busy week and a really early start yesterday. It felt so good. My husband told me that our cat was asleep on the mat outside our bedroom as she was waiting for me and wondering where I was. Isn’t that sweet? She usually ignores me….
There wasn’t an early morning workout today but before lunch I did Two in One Toning from YouTube. Thanks for the recommendation mholdsworth and Jacy. I did this years ago but enjoyed rediscovering it today. I used 12llb as my heavy set and 3kilos as my lights. It had exactly the right kind of challenge. I loved it and Peanut was adorable. I loved her version of a push up whilst Jessica was demonstrating on the wall.
I followed this with SOS. I need to try and fit more flexibility work into my week and my fitness schedule and this one only being 15 minutes long is a great add on. This new challenge is going to be great for me as it is exactly what I need.
Got my leaves taken care of and some of my housework but we got ice yesterday and then it snowed so many more leaves are down…..so there will be more yardwork. Very late this year. We have 2 acres which is really big because we live in town so our tractor is really a large garden tractor not like something you farm with, although we have one of those too to take care of the six acres we own out in the country 🙂
Think I am going to have to go back to the morning workouts thought maybe I could do my 10 minutes DVD from Jessica three times a day but that isn’t working either.

This week has been a dosey, still working and getting in my average high step count . I haven’t gotten in anything extra. My son is really struggling , he was back in the hospital last night . We are trying very hard to find a TBI residential treatment facility for him. There are few in the US and hard to get into. Today Friday I have the morning off from work . Went looking for tabata routines that Jacy mentioned. Awesome abs and arms came up as a option. This is one I love and has forgotten about ( seem like I say that a lot about Jessica’s you tube rouintes, I love them all) .I going to do this that one and then it’s off to work . Hope everyone has a great weekend. Going to attempt a 8k- trail race tomorrow morning , I think …. ? I haven’t trained very well this week. I will see how I feel in the morning.

I’ve read some of your previous posts, and the weights that you lift and your daily step count is inspirational. I think it would be amazing to make online friends from around the world who workout with Jessica Smith.
I’m in my late forties living in the UK and discovered Jessica Smith just under a year ago. I love her for all the reasons that you do. I have purchased lots of her DVDs yoga, walk on 30dys, 5 miles, 6 miles, 4 dvd weight loss and walk strong 1, following rotations each day and now I’m discovering her on You Tube.
This morning I’ve completed 2 in 1 Toning and Tabata. Something I’ve only tried this year with Jessica is lifting two sets of weights. So my light are 2kg and my heavy 3kg (and 3 kg has been a challenge for me – I know I’m a lightweight!!)
