Day 17 but the day 16 HiiT routines. I just did both routines on the plan. The HiiT or beginners was a great 20 minute warm up and I jogged the steady state bits of this. I then went onto to do Boogie I.T from WS3 which is wonderful. It is amazing how Jessica can make interval training such fun. Some brilliant choreography on this one, I always giggle at the tango move and I love the drills as well. It is a humid morning even though it is still early yet. I am definitely a sparkly mess and definitely need to clean up as well as glam up before I begin my working day.
Jacy after we finish this and then the Spring Ahead Challenge it would be great to tackle to the new WS3 Master Rotation and after a break from WS3 with all these wonderful challenges it will be good to get back to it and work our way through all the fabulous routines again before the summer.
Day 19 Strength today as I did the Day 18 Cardio suggestions at the weekend. I swapped today’s suggestions for Tone and Flow from WS3 which I haven’t done for ages. This routine is indeed a sneaky one and it tougher than it looks. The bow and arrow moves and chest hugs with my 2.5 kilo light set were tough and I found the last reps tough to finish. This afternoon when I got home I did the Day 20 Yoga for Strength and Flexibility from Yoga Fix. This is the kind of yoga I really like.
I enjoyed my drink with friends yesterday after work. We don’t meet regularly and it was great to relax and catch up.
I am hiking tomorrow and looking forward to it very much.
Today I wanted to do Indoor Jogging and I followed that with the 15min Total Body Strength. The 15 min routines are so short that it is quite nice to be fully warmed up before doing them. Tonight has been the Under The Weather Stretch. I meant to pair it with the other 15min strength routine but I just don’t feel like it tonight. No worries, I’m sure I can slip in somewhere else this week.
Jackie what an active day you have had – I don’t know how you fit anything else in but I bet you do! Your coastal trek sounded lovely. Don’t work too hard tomorrow and enjoy your evening out with friends.
Day 16 (but Day 15 and Strength routines). I have wanted to do the Hour Glass 24 minutes and 17 minute Apple Shape workouts for a while and I did them both as my early morning routines today and they didn’t disappoint. They were interesting, enjoyable and challenging in different ways. Both worked the whole body but with some good core strength work too. I followed those with a walk with my husband. We took a small bushy path which took us down to a deserted beach and from there we scrambled over the rocks and cliffs around the the main beach at Tung Wan. It was quite a challenging, long (and slippery) coastal trek and another whole body workout but we both had such fun and the views were totally glorious as was the weather.
This afternoon I did the Day 15 recommended 15 minute Cardio Strength Circuit and the 15 Minute Total Body Strength Routines. I wrapped those with the 20 minute Yoga for Balance and Core Strength from Yoga Fusion Fix. This one is one of the Day 16 recommended stretching routines. I have a busy, busy day ahead tomorrow with visits, meetings and I am meeting friends for a drink afterwards during the early evening. I might not have time to stretch tomorrow although an early morning routine is definitely planned. It will be a Cardio HiiT routine and as I can see Boogie I.T is one of the recommended routines from WS3 so the decision is made😀😀😀.
Fabulous to have my energy back and to no longer be stiff or sore.
