Days 28-30-Sunday I did cardio yoga before going to ourstates state fair. My family had a wonderful time (Me not so much, it was too crowded for me ). My oldest daughter met us there and my youngest daughter surprised me and asked to ride the gigantic Farris wheel.I was super impressed how well she did with all the sensory stimulation. Monday I did fusion flo before work . I took a half day as my daughter had her new neurologist appointment. We were super impressed. He really has gotten this moving in a positive direction on helping our daughter with her sezuire disorder and the issues that go along with it. Tuesday -my rest day . I’ve had a major thyroid attack / relapse. Thankfully today was my day off and I tried to take it easy. I didn’t get any naps in but rested a little. The evening got tense as my son asked to be taken out of the house for treatment he was/is suicideal. So I took him to the hospital (which is an hour away) where he was treated for his auto accident and TBI. So it’s now 1am Wendsday and he and I are waiting to be seen by the psych team. I’m thankful he asked for help. Please pray that the drs here will help him & direct us on how to help him heal From this massive depression.
Day 13 for me today although I did the Day 12 Ballet Body Sculpt. I feel rested as my body now feels it is morning in the U.K. rather than evening in HK so I have my energy back. I agree with Jacy Ballet Body Sculpt is a good one. It was on my original playlist but was removed and changed to Barre Guns and Buns. I did find it on YouTube though and unsure why it was switched. I partnered that with Cardio Ball Blast and I certainly had a blast with my pink ball as well as getting a great workout. I haven’t done this routine for a long while and I am so happy I did it today as there are a few great moves, some laughs when Jessica drops the ball and some higher intensity intervals (but nothing too major I did it barefooted).
I did relaxing PM Stretch from my download library. I did this yoga routine a couple of weeks ago and loved it so I did it again.
I actually took a rest day from exercise on Wednesday when we took my mum to see the house so depending on how I feel tomorrow I might start week 3.
Maureen I hope you are feeling better, looking forward to seeing your posts. Mholdsworth missing your news and exercise posts.
I hope that you are both well.
Ooo I am feeling that Cardio Ball Ballet today all over. Day 13 for me today and more ballet with Ballet Body Sculpt, this has been removed from Jessica’s YouTube channel but I found it still exists on YouTube, I think since I printed off February Fusion she may have substituted in a different workout. These ballet workouts are so great for posture and balance.
This ballet inspired week has got me feeling nostalgic. I have done many classes over the years but I started home workouts when I was eleven, and I have never stopped them. In the UK before videos we had a series launched on record/ audio tape called “Shape Up and Dance with…..” and this would be with a TV personality. Each one was accompanied by a black and white booklet with photos of the exercises! I loved it and worked out to one most days!
Then as a teenager when we finally purchased a video recorder I started a huge love of Jane Fonda. I adored her ballet barre movements and aerobics etc. Always made sure I was wearing the leotard and matching leg warmers, of course!! I have to say that a lot of her moves are still incorporated into routines today. Did any of you workout with Jane? They were released again in 2015 onto DVD and for some reason they seem a lot shorter and easier now than they did in the 1980s!!
Have enjoyed the workouts this week – Cardio Ballet and Floor Barre from the DVD, Kickboxing Circuit from Youtube, Cardio Ball Ballet from Youtube and of course the very enjoyable active rest day!! It’s been fun to use the ball in the workouts. Maybe the under the weather stretch later as it is also suggested for today. Good to read all your posts during this ballerina week!
Days 10 and 11. Yesterday I took as a rest day so this morning I did the recommended Day 10 Cardio Kickboxing Circuit and Day 11 Cardio Ball Ballet. I enjoyed both as I did taking Monty out for a very long walk this morning as I fly back to Hong Kong this late afternoon. Holly, I think you might like Cardio Ball Ballet too. It is one of those sneaky ones. I didn’t have a ball but used my woolly hat which worked a treat. I did try to use a balloon but Monty thought I was playing . I don’t think I will be able to exercise tomorrow because I am flying overnight and will need to rest and recover when I get home.
Maureen thinking of you and hope that you are getting better as you rest.
mholdworth and Jacy I haven’t seen your posts for a while. I hope that you are both well.
