Day 37/Tuesday -The last 3 days as nice as they were totally wiped me out. I did no am routine before work . Had two very messy post holiday houses today. After work I took Lana for a 3 mile walk .itbwas such a wonderful way to unwind and clear my mind. After dinner I did Monday’s suggested cardio interval sculpt. It was a great challenge . I stuck to 15# as my heavy and 10#as my light. I finished a outta breath sweaty mess but it did leaving me feeling very strong. I’m seeing steady gains in my strength . I hoping I’ll see gains in my stamina when I do my next 5k on New Year’s Day . Tomorrow I’m planning on doing cardio Hiit. Then Thursday doing upper body & lower body then adding the 15 min streamline sculpt with barre sculpt. We shall see.
It was a lovely hike yesterday but I was tired when I got home and had an early night. The hike was really successful and the group lovely. Quite a few have signed up for tomorrow’s hike which shorter but more challenging.
Day 38 this morning I swapped days around a bit and did Barre Sculpt and the Yoga Strength Routine that I planned to do yesterday when I got home. The rest of the day will be a relaxing one I think. I would like to go over to Central on the ferry as I need to get some food items for next week’s ‘Christmas meal’ for my brother as we are away this weekend to celebrate the New Year. The weather is so beautiful though we just might relax and sit in the garden.
Day 36 Monday- Christmas breakfast lasted most of the day. Company didn’t leave until after 1:30. It was hectic but really nice to spend time with everyone. Thankfully I was able to work in you tube cardio yoga before everyone came over. Afterwards I was able to get in a short walk with Lana. Once back home there was lots of clean up to do . That wore me out so I didn’t do a routine from WS3. I went to bed early – well early for me.
Christmas lunch went well. We all ate too much but had a wonderful time. The nicest gift was being told by one of my friends over lunch that she has started doing Jessica’s 10-15minute YouTube workouts and she loves them and is feeling healthier and less stressed because of them. After everyone had gone home I went out for a leisurely walk with my husband. We needed the exercise after all that delicious food. We felt much better after that.
Boxing Day and Day 37.No early morning workout this morning as I am getting ready to lead a hike. It isn’t a hard one, a moderate 14km and 350meters of ascent from sea level which will provide some good cardio for everyone who comes along. It will also provide some lovely views and photo opportunities. I don’t know many of the hikers today as they are new to my group but I am looking forward to getting to know them.
The plan is to do Yoga Strength when I get home and do Cardio HiiT tomorrow morning.
Day 36 and it is Christmas Day. We opened our Christmas presents together (always special) and then it was the recommended Cardio Interval Sculpt which I partnered with the Flat Abs Walk from YouTube. Just like mholdsworth I wanted something to get my step count up and something with a dance feel to it and with the Latin music it certainly hit the spot.
Off to make breakfast and then I am cooking a late Christmas lunch for friends so it is going to be a busy morning but I am so looking forward to it. The weather is beautiful so I am going to set the table under the awning in the garden. I made the soup yesterday and I made so much I think it will feed us for the rest of the week too…. (and all the neighbours). I will probably freeze it and serve it next week as I am cooking another Christmas lunch as my brother and his wife are arriving to stay with us. They are currently on holiday in Cambodia and will be joining us here late next week. I am so lucky to be celebrating Christmas twice.
Happy Christmas everyone 🎉🎉🎉🎉
