The hike yesterday went well it was enjoyed by all. I got home and rested rather than do any stretching. It was a lovely Sunday. Today and a sunny and humid Monday and Day 15. I had signed up for the Powerwalk Central to the Peak so that was my early morning workout. It was nice to catch up with few of my regular hikers who were also on the walk today. I got home showered and got straight to work. Today is a Lower Body Day and I just didn’t want to do a traditional strength routine so I swapped that for Barre: Butt, Hips and Thighs oh my goodness did I feel the burn with all those reps. It was a nice change. This afternoon during my break I did the optional suggested routine Flow 3 Hips and Knees and that was a sound decision.
I am going to rest for a little before continuing on with my work. It has been a very intense late morning and afternoon and I just have one more to do before I checkout for the day. I want to give it my best.
Days 11-14 Thursday- Sunday. Thursday was the start of what I now know is one of my occasional autoimmune attacks. I’m so thankful and surprised that I haven’t any earlier considering all the stress and inconsistency since February. I have continued to work and do all my other responsibilities. Thursday I did the recommended streamline sculpt. Friday I did rise and shine yoga before taking my son to his medical appointments. Saturday after work and a very nice walk on the nearby beach we frequentl I did the Friday recommended Interval sculpt. I always enjoy it and was able to jog during all walking parts . Today ( Sunday ) after work and dinner I did Saturday recommended barefoot fusion sculpt . I love the music in that one. Hopefully I’m finally turing the corner thinking last night was the peak of the attack . It’s been great reading about everyone’s accomplishments this week and active weekend .
Was able to get outside and do some work yesterday, moved a couple of woodpiles, cut down some scrub brush and a small tree and started cleaning up the garden area there were quite a few yard posts that they had partially buried to make smaller gardens and then quite a few semi buried tomato cages. Still have lots to do but at least it was a start and I was moving 🙂
Jackie I would so love to go hiking with you and the places you could show me not only Hong Kong but the UK and Scotland as well….wouldn’t it be so much fun 😀
Day 14 and I did the suggested Barefoot Fusion Sculpt from WS1.Up early as leading an easy Sunday morning hike. I hope to get some stretching/yoga in this afternoon/evening. I hope everyone is well.
Day 13 and as I took my rest day yesterday I did both of the suggested Day 12 routines as my early morning workout. I enjoyed Interval Mix and had forgotten how sneaky it is and I always enjoy Cardio Abs. That is a Cardio Kickboxing workout that is such fun. I was sparkling so much my wooden floor was wet and I started to slip on the planks to upward facing dog which are the final exercise. Next time I will make sure I have my mat handy.
I have had a very intense (and stressful) morning of work and to help me relax just I did Barefoot Fusion Flow during my lunch. I am now going to eat and then read something mindless and fun before I begin my afternoon. I will do some stretching and relaxing this afternoon or tonight. It always helps relieve tension and stress.
