Day 23 of WS3 Phase 2 Redoux (love that arbinrl)💪💪💪. I had one of those I want to stay in bed mornings so I promised myself something is better than nothing so I swapped Upper Body for 15 minute Streamline Sculpt and I felt so energetic I followed that with 15 Minutes Total Body and ended with the one Mile of motivation so all in all I got a pretty good workout. I have a busy day ahead and a ferry to get in about 45 minutes so I had better clean up, dress smart and have some breakfast. Really great to read your motivating posts this morning. It got me out of bed and doing something which turned out to be 45 minutes of exercise…..
Didn’t do anything yesterday but take a nap and feel like I was getting a cold, must’ve been a good plan because I feel much better and am choosing my workout for today. Tomorrow I think I will be shoveling snow when I get home from work based on the weather report 🙂
Day 2 of WS3, Phase II, redux: Metabolic Conditioning. In a strange turn of events, I actually found myself pausing the video a couple of times to retrieve heavier weights. By the time we got to the last couple of exercises–the chest presses and the on-the-floor rows–I was up to my 15 lb. weights. So, at some point this morning, I worked with 4 lb, 8 lb, 10 lb and 15 lb. I’m definitely getting better at the push-ups, although I doubt I’ll ever actually like them. Jessica’s workouts are always such a great challenge, no matter what level I’m at when I do them. Now, time to walk the dog, etc. I’m considering adding in a little jogging, too; these new shoes I got make my feet feel like running! Have a great day, everyone!
Yesterday I did Jessica’s latest You tube workout, Feel Good Fusion, wow I don’t know how Jessica does it but I am glad she does, that was a wonderful sneaky workout that also opened me up. Thanks Jessica and of course Peanut for lending her support 😀
For some, unexplained reason, my energy level on Saturday (the last time I posted) improved as the day passed! That made things a lot better at work, and I didn’t even feel as worn out at the end of the day as I normally do. Usually, Saturdays wipe me out, but this week wasn’t too bad :). When I looked at the schedule this morning, I realized that I had reached the end of WS3, phase 2–sort of. That is to say that I had at least started the last week, even though I didn’t do all the scheduled workouts. So, what to do next? Well, I decided to re-start Phase II with a determination to stick much more closely to the schedule this time. I feel like I was a little…for lack of a better word…slack the first time around. Today was 1 mile of motivation + add-on abs–both of which are incredible workouts. For the mile of motivation, I did more jogging and jumping than I have before, and for the add-on abs, I pushed myself to reach for the harder options. I’ve already walked the dog this morning, so now it’s on with the rest of the day. When I was doing the jumping jacks, I thought back to Basic Training many years ago. It was a lot easier to do all those things when I was 17 years old, but I was enjoying myself this morning!
