Hello everyone😀. As it is Monday of week 4 of Round 2 of Phase 2 it is Day 22 today and the final week. I signed up for the Morning Central to the Peak (hike). This is a regular twice weekly fast walk up hill. I have never done it before with the group. It is mainly on pavement and road so it isn’t really a hike but it is amazing cardio as it is 400 metres of ascent from sea level with steep gradients. I wrapped up warm, got the 7.00am ferry and met the walkers at 8.00am. It was a good cardio workout 8.5km with half of it a fast steep walk uphill. Great cardio with no breaks needed! I walked up (and down) and was finished by 9.15. I got the 10.00am ferry home. Put in a few hours of work and then did the recommended Day 50 Lower Body. It has been a really great day.
Yesterday my plan WAS to do the new workout Jessica had posted but our day took longer than I expected. I am really feeling it this morning that I didn’t do much but sit yesterday. Had to get our taxes done and while that part wasn’t bad the sweet woman that does them takes FOREVER so we just sat for 2 1/2 hours getting that done, than ran errands and by the time we got home I was done 🙂 I did think I would be shoveling snow this morning but it didn’t too much last night, it may be tomorrow morning’s task before work. OK, the plan today is the new workout and definitely some stretching as I feel like I am just a ball LOL. The interesting thing to me is I am now seeing a difference in many areas if I don’t exercise and eat right….finally catching up with you lovely ladies 🙂
Day 20 and I swapped 15 Minute Total Body Stretch for Jessica’s new 30 Minute Feelgood Fusion from YouTube. This is a wonderfully relaxing workout and I love Peanut’s thought bubbles too. I partnered this with Sunset Stretch and I feel great. I have pushed myself over the past week and these were a good choice for today.
Yesterday did Cardio Sculpt and Dynamic Stretch…..felt soooo good. That might be a good one for you Jackie or the Relax and Restore from You Tube always “resets” me 🙂
Hi Ladies, I wanted to do a quick check-in since I haven’t in a couple of days. I hope everyone who was sick is on the mend. When husbands come home unexpectedly, it does interfere with the workout schedule sometimes.:) So, this week, I worked an extra full day on Thursday to fill in for a coworker(I usually work a couple of hours each day, but only two full days), but I haven’t missed a day of exercise. It isn’t always according to the calendar, but I have done something every day. Today, I woke up already feeling exhausted, which isn’t good since I have a long workday ahead of me; but I managed to do 15 minute Total Body Training. That is definitely a toughie, but I made it through and I’m hoping I will feel more energetic as the day progresses. “Talk” to you all later. Stay Strong!
