I bought and did the walk strong 6 week transformation in 2016 and loved the results but because it was Spring switched to outdoor activities and was not as consistant. A year later I severly sprained an ankle and beng in my 60’s ut took over 9 months to get back to normal just to walk and to my dismay my muscles had gotten so weak I could hardly ride my bike.Β Last Spring I bought an electric bike that also could switch to manual riding an rebuild my muscles to ride my reqular bicycle again.Β In the fall with weather making indoor exercise the option I was doing wii Just dance and stationary bikingh but knew this was not doing enough for my muscles so pulled out my favorite Jessica Smith program and emiled her for the schedule which I had lost.Β I got a fast response with a downloadable plan and am now into my 3rd day.Β My main take is not to take your body for granted, make a habit of exercise every day – having a schedule certainly keeps me from slacking off!
Hello, Audrey from Australia again, wanting to report there have been some wobbles and some days off but I’ve kept at it and I’ve done 3 weeks. And I realised that actually, just possibly, I could do more so I thought to challenge myself with doing two of the workouts, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. That went Ok (I was very surprised) and to test if it was a fluke or indeed proof that I was getting stronger, I decided to do two of the workouts back to back in one session. I can’t say I did much in that last 10 minutes of the 1 hour, I just kept moving, was pretty tired by then, but I was absolutely astonished that doing your program for such a short period of time got me so much stronger and tougher that I could double-up workouts!Β I will keep going on double-ups because I’d really love to see some solid results sooner rather than later (who doesn’t :-)) and keep you posted. Thanks Walk Strong Team.
Iβm excited to start Walk Strong 1 again! My first round with Walk Strong was January 2016 and I have loved all the Walk Strong programs so much. Iβve rotated through Phase 2 and Walk Strong 2. Iβve repeated Walk Strong 3 four times and have done the master calendar once. These programs are amazing and Iβm hoping that by starting over I can focus on doing the more advanced moves and using a heavier set of weights. Thank you so much Jessica for these programs. They are wonderful!
Hi. I’ve just started with the 6 week program. I’m very proud of myself for managing the first week. I did it out of order since my period started during the first week so I changed the days around etc to suit things but I am ridiculously proud of myself for continuing and not taking a few days off! I like the workouts very much. They are not too complicated, not too funky, and I don’t feel too stupid doing them :-). This would easily be the first time I have done back to back days of exercise in probably 20 years. I’m thrilled and looking forward to seeing some changes in my body in the coming weeks. Thanks Team!

I’ve finished one round of Walk Strong and am repeating the program before doing 2.0. I’m currently on day 8.
I feel amazing. I’ve gotten another set of weights. π
I feel so much stronger. Simple things, like sitting in an uncomfortable chair, don’t lead to aches.
I’ve been a little vain, looking at the mirror a bit too much and looking at how my body has changed.
I’m looking forward to continuing changes and feeling different.
Thank you.
Just started week one and feeling very hopeful! Have loved the two workouts I’ve done so far and am excited about bringing the DVDs with me on business travel to do in my hotel room. Feeling hopeful about sticking with this.
