What is an active rest day?

    • HI Vicki, great question! An active rest day means a break from all of your scheduled ‘exercise’ to allow your body time off to restore and rejuvenate. On active rest days, you can do some gentle yoga, go for an easy walk (just don’t worry about getting to your step goal necessarily) or any other activity that you enjoy that isn’t related to your workout plan. It’s a great hiatus for both your body and your mind. We need those days off as you can develop overuse injuries if you are doing too much all the time. Hope that helps 🙂
